We’re happy to inform everyone that the Parent Portal now has multiple login capabilities. It is a feature that many of our families have been asking for.
The video below explains how you can add a secondary user to your account.
Things to keep in mind
- When you send an invitation to a secondary user, that invitation is only valid for 48 hours. However, if the secondary user doesn’t accept the invitation within that time, you’ll need to send it again.
- This is the first stage of development of the multiple login capability. So, secondary access for additional users will be limited and includes view-only access. However, new features will be added in the future.
- Mobile users will need to download the latest version of the ICP app to be able to log in as a secondary user.
- At the first login, secondary users will need to verify that they are 18 years of age or older. They will be unable to continue without confirming this.
- The primary guardian must accept all required family/student policies. f the primary guardian has not agreed to policies, all secondary users will be blocked from accessing the account.
- If the primary guardian on the account changes (either due to a family merge or other account changes), all secondary access will be revoked. The new primary guardian will need to issue new invitations.
