Girls competitive

Gemma, 2nd all-around at the 2019 Senior Victorian Championships (Level 8 Division 2, 15&O)

Women’s Artistic competitive classes are for girls who want to pursue high levels of gymnastics. Eureka Gymnastics Club has a long and proud history of outstanding gymnasts including medallists at Australian and Victorian Championships. Eureka is also the only club in Ballarat to have athletes selected to represent Victoria at the Australian Championships. Our Head Coach is the highest-qualified coach in Ballarat.

Gymnasts in these classes compete in competitions around Victoria, and at higher levels interstate or internationally. Eureka Gymnastics Club offers classes for girls for levels 1-10. The routines that gymnasts will learn are set by Gymnastics Australia and are used nationwide. Girls compete on four apparatus: vault, uneven bars, balance beam and floor.

These classes are by invitation only.  To arrange an assessment of your daughter please contact us.

Australian Levels Program 1-2

Women’s artistic gymnastics

Girls compete on four apparatus: vault, uneven bars, balance beam, and floor. Your daughter will learn skills and routines on each of these apparatus. Girls start in level 1 and work up to level 10.

Competitions

Competitions are usually held in Melbourne and Geelong, and occasionally in regional cities. Gymnasts in levels 1-4 will only compete as a team.

As girls progress through levels they will get the opportunity to compete as an individual in addition to competing as a team.

At higher levels, girls will have the opportunity to compete in State and National competitions.
