It’s hard to believe that around this time last year, the club was about to be shut down for the second year in a row due to the pandemic. New Gymstar skills

Our lesson plans for Gymstar levels 1-5 have been updated over the last couple of months, so you might see a few new drills being used and some new skills being taught. This also means that some skills being tested have also changed. Additionally, at least one skill on each apparatus is tested each week.

You can log into your account on the ICP app or the Portal to see your child’s assessments. Once logged in, tap or click on Account, then Evaluations under the gymnast you want to see.

Updating the plans for levels 6-10 is now underway, so there’ll be some more news on that soon.

MAG and WAG competitions

Athletes in the Men’s Artistic and Women’s Artistic programs have been competing over the last month at clubs in Geelong and Melbourne. A lot of these gymnasts have competed only once or twice previously. In fact, some had never competed at all!

Term 3

Finally, just a quick reminder that the last day of classes for term 3 is the 17th of September.
