WAG Pre-squad Class

In term 2, we are starting a new class for girls who would like to join the Women’s Artistic Program (WAG) at Eureka. For more information about our award-winning WAG Program, we’ve put together some resources you might find useful. If your daughter is turning 5, 6 or 7 this year, and she would like to trial the WAG Program, please contact us! The class will run from 4:00 – 6:00 on Monday nights, and places are strictly limited.

Our most-liked video for March

If you haven’t seen our gymnasts in action on Facebook and Instagram, be sure to check out their amazing skills! The video below is the most-liked video in the month of March.

Welcome to our new coaches

We are so pleased to have a number of coaches join the club this year, and we are really pleased to welcome one more! Nic is a former gymnast at Eureka and is currently training in the Men’s High Performance program in Melbourne. He has competed in state championships, winning a number of medals. Additionally, Nic has represented Victoria on multiple occasions. We welcome Nic back to Eureka as a coach in the MAG program.

We are also pleased to welcome Mietta back to Eureka as a coach. Mietta has also represented Victoria as an athlete, and competed in numerous Victorian Championship events, winning multiple medals. Mietta will be working with the Gymstar program, and routine choreography for some senior WAG gymnasts.

Farewell

Sadly at the end of this term, we also say farewell this term to Nathan and Ebony and they head overseas for a period of time. Nathan has been working with the Gymstar and MAG programs, and most gymnasts in levels 6-10 would have met him at least once! Ebony has been working in Gymstar with levels 1-5 and more recently has been training a number of our junior coaches. As a club, we wish them an enjoyable and safe trip.

Don’t lose your spot!

Lastly, just a reminder that if your child is in a Gymstar or Under 5s class, please remember to enrol by the 8th of April to ensure your child doesn’t lose their place in their class. You can contact us today to enrol!
