On behalf of the Eureka committee I’m thrilled to announce that we are moving to a new venue! This will be our permanent home for many years to come.
The floor space is approximately 1200 sqm and we have plans to fit it out so we can fit many more classes in at the same time. We are also planning to set it up to run both women’s and men’s competitions, as a new competition venue for Western Victoria. The building is located in Mentay Way, approximately five minutes drive from our current location.
We will be moving to the new gym in the first week of the school holidays, starting Saturday 29th March. If you are able to assist with moving, particularly during the day, please email admin@eurekagymnastics.com.au. We are planning to have completed the move by Sunday 5th April.
We are looking for some pool fencing to put around the viewing area (which will be inside the gym!), and some timber to construct change rooms and a staff/administration area. If you have some of these items that you would be willing to donate to the gym please email admin@eurekagymnastics.com.au.
Lastly, please share this news with your friends! We have now started fundraising for the additionally equipment we want to purchase to enable us to run more recreational classes and give competitive gymnasts more time on apparatus. This club exists to give the children of Ballarat the best experience in recreational and competitive gymnastics.
